Prince Stops for Deer; Deer Declines to Return the Courtesy
With his usual steed in the shop, The Prince was temporarily operating a 2019 Mazda Miata. Upon encountering a deer, he brought the vehicle to a complete stop to avoid a collision. The deer continued at considerable speed and collided with the stationary car, demonstrating a fundamental disagreement about how avoidance works.
Following impact, the deer fell to the ground and remained still for several seconds before getting up and running away. It did not remain long enough to provide insurance paperwork, leaving The Prince to file through his own insurer and cover the deductible. Management considers this an unacceptable transfer of woodland operating expenses.
The steed’s repair shop was unable to offer a loaner horse.

The vehicle remained stationary throughout the encounter. This contribution to road safety was not reciprocated.

Damage resulting from an unscheduled wildlife arrival. The deer had neither an appointment nor sufficient stopping distance.

The fender absorbed an objection to the Prince’s otherwise successful decision to stop.

Vehicle Visits Lowe’s; Tornado Supplies Unrequested Exterior Work
The blue car was caught in the 2021 tornado in the Lowe’s parking lot in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Its presence at a home-improvement retailer was not intended to authorize improvements to the vehicle.
Management notes that the work was performed without an estimate, consultation, or any meaningful opportunity to decline.
