Rubber Dog
Black leather. Velvet manners.
Rubber Dog wears black leather, studs, and bespoke spiked collars, then delivers velvet harmonies, generous brass, sweeping strings, and immaculately polished yacht-pop. Their manners are impeccable. Their debut album is Chew Toy. The spiked collar was a decision made before the horn section arrived.

Chew Toy
A little independence, a little affection, and a considerable amount of courtesy. Six songs, concluding with an encore the band could not possibly refuse.

An exceptionally well-mannered misunderstanding
The wardrobe suggests broken glass. The arrangements suggest a rather expensive boat. Rubber Dog combines warm, relaxed vocals, rich harmonies, melodic bass, polished grooves, horns, strings, and tasteful ’80s synths. Even their more energetic moments retain excellent table manners.
They remember the sound engineer’s name, thank the crew, and consider shouting at anyone an appalling breach of etiquette. The leather is tailored. The courtesy is sincere.
