AwfulWorld Group Confirms Continued Existence Following Internal Review
Management calls findings “consistent with expectations,” declines independent verification.
The AwfulWorld Group today confirmed its continued existence following an extensive internal review conducted by The AwfulWorld Group. After several meetings and a catered lunch, the review concluded that the organization probably exists and that further investigation would offer limited benefits to those conducting it.
A rigorous assessment
Management verified that the website loaded, the building remained standing, and His Majesty’s food bowl required replenishment. These indicators were deemed sufficient. Independent verification was considered unnecessary, as the internal review had already produced the desired result.
The committee’s final report described the findings as “consistent with expectations,” noting that expectations had been adjusted throughout the process to remain consistent with the findings.
Leadership welcomes the findings
“This is a validation of our long-term strategy,” said The Prince, who credited strategic direction, institutional resilience, and his decision to attend the final meeting.
“Someone still had to do everything,” clarified The Princess. Both statements were recorded as agreement.
His Majesty barked during the proceedings, which the minutes record as unanimous approval. A subsequent demand to go outside was classified as a motion to adjourn.
Labor accepts the findings provisionally
The Foregnome, representing the International Brotherhood of Woodland Trades & Extended Breaks, Local 7, accepted the findings provisionally, provided continued existence counts toward seniority and does not interrupt scheduled breaks.
He further requested confirmation that time spent establishing whether the organization exists constitutes paid work. Management has referred the question to a committee whose existence has yet to be established.
Financial outlook and next steps
Revenue remains an aspiration. Expenses have demonstrated considerably more initiative.
Management pledges to maintain or exceed its current level of existence, subject to budget approval and afternoon availability. A new committee will investigate whether continued existence should be described as growth. Its preliminary recommendation is that this depends on the font size used in the annual report.
“The AwfulWorld Group expects to remain in existence for the foreseeable future, although management reserves the right to revise what it considers foreseeable.”
